Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Postgres Mysql Client ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

License

Postgres Mysql Client is an open-source application distributed under the MIT License, based on Sequel Ace. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal or commercial purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the app to access databases without proper authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app (except as permitted by open-source license)
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the app or interfere with any other party's use
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any services, accounts, or networks

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your database credentials and connections
• All activity that occurs under your use of the app
• Ensuring you have appropriate authorization to access and manage databases
• Backing up your data before using the app to modify databases
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The app is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The results of using the app will meet your requirements

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the app
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

Data Management

You acknowledge that:

• The app provides tools to modify and delete database data
• You are solely responsible for backing up your data
• We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur through your use of the app
• Database operations performed through the app are your responsibility

Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the app at any time without notice
• Update these Terms of Service at any time
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time

Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Open Source

Postgres Mysql Client is an open-source fork of Sequel Ace. The source code is available for review, and certain portions are subject to the MIT License and other open-source licenses. These open-source licenses may grant you additional rights.

macOS and App Store

If you download the app from the Mac App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and App Store Terms of Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Postgres Mysql Client and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
